Michael Christopher Coslow
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the unexpected passing of Michael Christopher Coslow, age 29, died on August 29, 2021, at his residence in Tulare, California. Michael was born on September 23, 1991, in Turlock, California. Michael was raised in Turlock, which was his happy place and where he considered home. Michael is survived by his mother Sandra McDonald and father Michael Hodges, and 5 sisters Tracy Herrera, Jennifer Coslow, Michelle Pulido, Stacey Coslow, Rockelle Coslow, and many nieces and nephews, and his fur baby Loki. Michael was never married and did not have children of his own. His nieces and nephews and his cat Loki were his babies.
Michael was truly one of a kind with a heart of gold. Michael had a passion for helping others. He was known to take the shirt right off his own back and give it to the homeless. He would give his last dollar to help a stranger in need. His compassionate spirit and fun-loving approach to life was contagious, like his smile. Michael will be missed by his family and countless others that were fortunate enough to know him.
Michael’s final resting place will be in Ceres, California. We are currently planning a Memorial Service to celebrate his life, which will be held for family and close friends. Dates and times to be announced.
If ever there is tomorrow
when we’re not together…
there is something you must
always remember. You are
braver than you believe, stronger than you seem,
and smarter than you think.
But the most important
thing is, even if we’re apart…
I’ll always be with you. {A.A. Milne}
(His Journey’s Just Begun)
This earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting
from the sorrow and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing
That we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of him as living
in the hearts of those he touched…
For nothing loved is ever lost
And he was loved so much. {Ellen Brenneman}
